Book Club Questions
Howdy y'all -
My name is Julia and I'm arguably too old to be reading young adult novels. (22) I've started a highly exclusive two-person book club with my sister, Jade, who is the perfect age to be reading young adult novels. (17).
I had my stint with YA novels - Yes, yours truly even used to write Divergent fanfiction a long, long time ago, so long ago we need not mention it ever again. Though I doubt this blog will reach the outerworld, I've deigned to explain the general format anyway.
The title of the post will be the book that we've read that month - It might not be a YA novel. I just wanted to prepare you. Just in case. What will follow will be a general review by one or both of us, and then twenty-one book club questions that we've siphoned from the interwebs. I will post said questions down below.
If we're taking a particularly long time to finish a book, I might post an old review I had of previous books read. Yes, I am the type of person to devote a journal to book reviews. Yes, I have several gentlemen suitors, why do you ask? Now these reviews will be fairly short, unless I did not like them, at which point I tend to write too much.
Opinions are subjective, usually, not mine though. Mine are fact. Jade's are - You know, whatever, she's seventeen, there's still so much for her to learn. Whereas at the ripe age of 22, I have learnt everything there is to know about anything.
That's not true. But the point is to say that our shared opinions about the books are simply our own, and whether you agree or would like to see me imprisoned in the stocks for my words, post it in the comments. I'd love to hear it.
Despite what I said earlier, I know very little so if I miss or rant about something that was obvious to you, my sincerest apologies.
